Francesco Candeago was born in Biella, Italy, on 18 October 1988. In 2012 he was a stagiaire at the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg. Between 2013 and 2018 he worked in two renown Law Firms in Milan in the fields of civil and corporate law, later focusing on the financial regulation sector. Between 2017 and 2018 he has also worked in the Glasgow and London offices of the international law firm he was working for, dealing with transnational corporate and commercial matters.
Francesco is a member of the Milan Bar since January 2017.

Francesco Candeago focuses on European Union law, export control and economic sanctions, financial regulation and corporate matters.
Francesco obtained his Law Degree in Pavia in 2013, with a thesis on the ‘Security Class Action in the US Legal System’. He later also earned an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow, achieving the title with Distinction and writing a dissertation on Competition Policy in Financial Markets in the UK.
