Luigi Mula, member of the firm’s Corporate/M&A team, will speak at the conference “Ownership, Governance and information flows. Shareholders’ rights and responsibilities” organised by Synergia Formazione.
Mr Mula’s speech will focus on “Shareholders’ rights and the indications of the Code of Conduct regarding ownership and governance” and will deal with the main aspects of the shareholders’ rights in listed companies such as the rights of “voice”, the implicit responsibilities of the shareholders’ meeting and the informal discussions between management and investors between stewardship and engagement.
The conference will focus, among other things, on the recent amendments to the Consob regulation regarding the Issuers (Consob Regulation 11971/1999) with particular respect to transparency. Such amendments have been made through Consob resolution no 19614 and published on 6th June 2016 on the Italian Official Gazette.
