Giacomo was born in 1997 and joined as a trainee in June 2023 in the Trade Compliance Team.
AREAS OF PRACTICE
Giacomo Grappoli focuses mainly on export control and international sanctions.
EDUCATION
Giacomo obtained his law degree in 2022, with honours. His master thesis focused on International Law of the Sea, addressing the matter of maritime boundary delimitation in Eastern Mediterranean. He attended the Master in Diplomacy of the Italian Institute for International Political Studies, where he also obtained the Diploma in European Affairs.

Member of the Organizational Committee for the conference “Italia e il diritto del mare – Italy and the law of the sea”, organized by Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Università di Genova and Università di Macerata. Research Assistant at ASCOMARE – Pro bono Consultancy in Law of the Sea. He attended the Summer school in International Law of the Hague Academy of International Law.
